Join our Yoga & Meditation Classes or Workshops in Singapore and put your mind on “silent mode” with Nathalie Ishizuka, a certified teacher of Advanced Yoga Practices AYP (200 hour meditation, asana, pranyama, samyama training) backed by the Yoga Alliance).  Nathalie, a Franco-Japanese yogi from New York (Director of the movement Beyond Our Best) has been practicing advanced yoga techniques including samyama for the last seven years daily.

Integrating asana (posture) practice with pranayama and meditation, Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP) covers all of the eight limbs of yoga.  Advanced Yoga Practices by Yogani (www.advancedyogapractices.com) focuses on deep meditation right from the start so that moments of silence and inner joy can permeate your life.  The full integrated yoga system includes practices that can be taken on by people who are new to yoga and takes people all the way through, to gradually build up an advanced level yoga practice including samyama — stillness in action.

While Nathalie learned directly samyama seven years ago from her raja yoga teacher, Yogani’s method can bring you step by step all the way to enlightment (the experience of inner silence and bliss regardless of ouside circumstances making you far more adept to act in the world as needed).  This tested method may save you years and years of practice so you can enjoy inner silence and joy as soon as you are ready.

This class is ideal for those who are new to asanas (posture) or meditation, combining both in an effective integrated system of yoga known as Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP) by Yogani.  Integrating gentle asana (posture), pranayama and meditation right from the start, AYP covers all of the eight limbs of yoga.  Suitable to all levels including beginners and yoga teachers.  The class will begin with simple gentle asanas and end with a short 10-20 min easy meditation.

1 Hour Yoga & Meditation Class + 1 Hour Food Discussion & Light Gourmet Vegetarian Lunch  $80 per person.  Meditation by itself will make you want to eat differently, without imposing any external dietary restrictions.  Your body will simply tell you what to eat.  For those, however who want to accelerate the learning process due to health concerns or a wish for a healthier diet that helps them have more energy, Nathalie has developed this option.

What to Wear and What to Expect:
You should come in yoga clothes (comfortable) as we will do some asanas and then meditation for the first hour. We will then discuss according to the theme.  For the first class we will deal with water as that is one of the most important elements in health.

We will discuss water (filtration systems, minerals, water in plastic, distilled water, energy in water) and have a nice vegetarian gourmet lunch together (which will show you some of the other things we may prepare in later classes). We can continue our discussion and learning as we savor good food and drink WATER!

The cost for the 2 hour workshop that includes gourmet Vegetarian lunch is $80.

If you bring a friend you get $20 off a next class. We can also talk in this class of things you want to learn or health concerns and tailor future classes to it. This is our opportunity to use food as medecine and establish good life long habits.

Have you ever wanted to go beyond your best best but had no idea how (and working more hours is not getting you there)?  Do you ever wish you could put your mind on “silent mode” or experience your life once again with the joy, excitement and care free spirit of a child?

If so this workshop is for you.

Originally taught only to visionary leaders in their fields, Nathalie is today teaching meditation occasionally to the general public when sponsored by visionary yoga studios.

“My dream is to see a world with an additional 10, 100 or 1000 people in each country who meditate at higher levels and experience a competence in one field of expertise where they go far beyond a previous best.  This includes artists, CEOs, doctors, scientists, engineers, diplomats, homemakers and world leaders.  “Such an individual and collective journey may be just enough to transform ourselves and our world,” says Ishizuka.

This is a basic foundation series of workshops for people who believe “they just can’t meditate,” but are motivated to go beyond their best.

What you Will Learn through the Four Class Series:

  • A simple 20 minute meditation + 5/10 minute Rest to go Beyond your Best
  • Simple Pranyama (5-10 minutes) to Eliminate blockages in Your Life & Improve Meditation Effectiveness
  • Simple Effective Asanas (10 minutes) to Amplify Meditation When You Are Ready
  • Putting it All Together and Self-Pacing for Success and Joy

Each step builds on the other.  You can join at any time and learn the practices in any session, but will be recommended to only practice each step one at a time before adding another level on your own self practice.

The practices taught are based on Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP) by Yogani, a method taught to thousands of beginners and practiced by advanced yogis around the globe.

Nathalie teaches meditation and is the Singapore contact for Advanced Yoga Practices

Advanced Yoga Practices (AYP) is a full-scope system of yoga, formulated by the American yoga teacher Yogani. Integrating asana (posture) practice with pranayama and meditation, AYP covers all of the eight limbs of yoga. The system includes practices that can be taken on by people who are new to yoga and takes people all the way through, to gradually build up an advanced level yoga practice including samyama.

The initial stages of practice focus on deep meditation.  AYP is a particularly strong and effective approach where advanced stages can be reached by practicing for short durations twice daily.  It is suited for busy individuals and yogis of all levels, including yoga teachers.

Nathalie has studied raja yoga in intense training with a teacher for the last seven years never missing a day of meditation.  She also practices in Singapore hatha with Vikram, pranayama in an Indian temple with Nikam Yoga, and is an “Isha meditator” (Sadhguru). She has notions of Zen, Qigong and Tibetain Buddhism.  She has tested many different meditations to ensure people the simplest and most effective manner to begin and to progress to deeper levels.

Having met profound individuals from different paths, Nathalie recognizes that there are many paths to the human spirit.  Her strength is joy and her ability to help individuals do what they love most in a way that can benefit themselves and others.
