Buy Artworks

I have since March 11, 2011 been working free of charge full time for Beyond Our Best supporting Artists and those in Japan who wish to re-think, re-charge and innovate.

Today to continue work particularly travel, training and teaching expenses to Japan, India and Thailand, US and Europe, I am willing to sell some of my own art to self finance projects.  You will find that these rare pieces of art will lift and elevate.  Only selected items are for sale.  When possible I ask you to consider lending back the piece for an art exhibit (this will only increase the value of the art piece).

In this manner, I will continue to finance my work indendently as I see fit.  Not all art viewed is for sale.  Visit Gallery below or ask Artist.  I promise to paint more art for sale as soon as I have time available.  Saiso Shimada’s art is presented on her website.

In addition to her formidable paintings, Shimada has created workshops for top Nike designers in shodo and calligraphy for the Emperial Household.  She helps individuals and organizations experience flow, movement and focus and gives lessons in Shodo, Qi-gong and Breath communicating the core of Japanese culture in one single stroke.

The 5 Elements of an Artist

Artist Nathalie Leiko Ishizuka EXHIBIT on 5 Elements of an Artist:  Ether  Air  Fire  Water  Earth

This is a current gallery exhibit in Singapore that illustrates 5 elements within the artist: ether, air, fire, water and earth.  Naturally like the artist herself, all the paintings have a bit of each element, but the element that dominates the painting is its principal element.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT AND SPONSORSHIP

The artist wishes to develop further in shodo and breath, in turner’s inspired techniques in watercolor, and in using geometry and shapes with mantra to create art that creates a moment of silence, heals, and transforms.  Ishizuka is open to learning new techniques including etching and is eager to learn from other artists to create a transparent art that elevates.
